AMUTIO CAZENEUVE HB 500 MANUAL LATHE

The AMUTIO CAZENEUVE HB 500 is a robust manual universal lathe designed for precision turning operations in industrial workshops. This conventional machine features a 500mm swing over bed, enabling the machining of workpieces up to 500mm in diameter. The lathe accommodates a maximum distance between centers of 1000mm, allowing for extended workpiece lengths up to 2000mm. The machine is equipped with a center height of 200mm and a spindle nose conforming to the CM-5 Morse taper standard. The spindle bore measures 40.5mm, facilitating efficient material removal and tool mounting. With a spindle motor power of 12.5kW and maximum turning speeds reaching 2000 rpm, the HB 500 delivers reliable performance across diverse machining applications. Standard equipment includes a 260mm three-jaw chuck with two sets of jaws, a steady rest for stabilizing longer workpieces, and an integrated cutting oil tank. The cross slide enables a maximum swing of 220mm above the slide, while the gap bed configuration permits swinging larger diameters on a faceplate. The lathe features 18 spindle speeds and 73 longitudinal and transverse feeds, providing flexibility for various machining operations. Especially notable are the large micrometer dials allowing precision readings to 0.0025mm.
