The CAMPRO CPL-106 Horizontal Machining Center is a precision CNC turning center designed for high rigidity and efficiency in medium-sized part production. It features a robust one-piece 45° inclined cast iron bed that provides superior stability, vibration damping, and effective chip evacuation. The main spindle accommodates a maximum turning diameter of 11.4 inches with a chuck diameter of 6 inches, and a turning length of up to 13.7 inches. It operates at speeds up to 6,000 RPM powered by a 10 to 15 HP spindle motor, ensuring high-performance machining. The machine offers 2-axis control with an X-axis travel of 5.9 inches plus 0.78 inches and a Z-axis travel of 13.8 inches, supporting a maximum feed rate of 0.78 inches per revolution on the X-axis and rapid traverse rates of 945 inches per minute on all axes. Its 10-station hydraulic turret, featuring cam and curvic clutch mechanisms, provides versatility and rigid tool holding for various turning operations. Additional standard features include a 3-jaw hydraulic chuck, manual tailstock with 2.75-inch quill diameter and 3.14-inch quill travel tapering to MT-#5, a coolant system, chain-type chip conveyor with bucket, and oil skimmer to maintain optimal cutting conditions. The CPL-106 uses Fanuc controls integrated with Campro’s CPMS smart manufacturing system for precision, ease of operation, and efficient production management.
