The CAMPRO NT-208 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-precision CNC turning center engineered for demanding production environments. Featuring a rigid 30° cast iron inclined bed, the machine delivers superior stiffness and vibration damping for consistent accuracy and extended tool life. The main spindle supports a maximum turning diameter of 16.540" and a turning length of 20.470", with an 8.000" chuck diameter and a maximum swing of 22.840". The single main spindle operates at up to 4,200 RPM, with a standard 15 HP motor and an optional 20 HP configuration for enhanced cutting performance. The NT-208 is a two-axis machine with X-axis travel of 8.270" (plus an additional 0.790" option), and Z-axis travel of 22.440", enabling versatile part processing. Rapid traverse rates reach 945 ipm on both X and Z axes, ensuring efficient cycle times. The machine is equipped with a 3-jaw hydraulic chuck, manual tailstock, chain-type chip conveyor, coolant system, and oil skimmer for reliable operation and easy maintenance.
