2016 CHEVALIER FBL-230MC CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Chevalier FBL-230MC is a CNC slant-bed turning center with live tooling, built by Chevalier Machinery as the mill-turn version of the FBL-230 in its FBL-230/300 box-way lathe series. The bed is a 45-degree slant casting in ribbed Meehanite with box ways and a torque-tube structure. It runs a Fanuc 0i-T control. The machine swings 550 mm (21.7 in) over the bed and 330 mm (13.0 in) over the cover, with a maximum cutting diameter of 270 mm (10.6 in), a maximum cutting length of 362 mm (14.3 in) and 507 mm (20.0 in) between centers. The A2-6 spindle carries an 8 in chuck, has a 62 mm (2.4 in) spindle hole, and takes 52 mm (2.0 in) bar as standard or 65 mm (2.5 in) as an option. It turns up to 4,000 rpm on an 11/15 kW (15/20 hp) motor. Z and X travels are 450 mm and 210 mm, with 20 m/min rapid feed. The 12-station BMT-55 live-tool turret takes 25 x 25 mm turning tools and 32 mm boring bars. The hydraulic tailstock has 310 mm of travel, a 75 mm quill with 120 mm of quill travel and an MT5 taper. Floor space is 2,800 x 1,700 x 1,700 mm and net weight is 3,500 kg.
