2014 DMG NLX2500 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The DMG MORI NLX 2500 is a first-generation NLX horizontal CNC turning center in its basic turning configuration, without Y-axis or sub-spindle. The single main spindle has a JIS A2-8 nose and a 91 mm (3.58 in.) through-spindle hole with 80 mm bar capacity, and runs to 4,000 rpm on an 18.5 kW motor (25% ED; 15 kW continuous), with a 26 kW motor available as an option. The turning version swings up to 18.11 in. (460 mm) maximum turning diameter. It was built in 500 and 700 bed lengths, with maximum turning lengths of 450 mm and 728 mm, and a tailstock with an MT5 live center is standard. The turret has 10 stations as standard with a 12-station option. Rapid traverse is 30 m/min on X and Z. Compared with the earlier NL series, DMG MORI increased X-axis rigidity, fitted larger ball screws, reduced the floor space and added coolant circulation through the castings to control thermal displacement. Typical work includes shafts, discs, flanges and other chucked or between-centers parts in general job-shop and production turning.
