2011 DOOSAN LYNX 220G CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Doosan Lynx 220G is a compact two-axis CNC gang-tool lathe built for bar-fed production of small-diameter parts. It shares the Lynx 220 slant-bed platform but replaces the indexing turret with a gang tool slide, so tools are mounted on a cross slide and selected by X-axis moves instead of turret indexing, which removes index time from the cycle. The belt-driven main spindle reaches 6,000 rpm and is driven by a 15 kW (20.1 hp) motor. Maximum turning diameter is about 170 mm (6.7 in), and bar capacity is 45 mm (1.77 in). The machine is set up for collet or small-chuck work with a bar feeder and parts catcher, and suits high-volume turning of fittings, pins and similar components. Doosan produced a later Lynx 220G Super version with linear motion guides on a 60-degree slant bed, a 6-inch standard chuck, a 53 mm spindle through-hole, 322 mm maximum turning length and a DOOSAN-FANUC i Series control. Earlier machines use FANUC i Series controls.
