2016 DOOSAN PUMA 3100 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Doosan PUMA 3100 is a 2-axis horizontal CNC turning center in the PUMA 2100/2600/3100 series, built for 12-inch chuck work. It uses a one-piece 30-degree slant bed with box guideways and a belt-driven main spindle on an A2-11 nose with a 115 mm (4.5 in) through hole and 102 mm (4.0 in) bar capacity. The 22 kW (30 hp) main spindle motor reaches 2,800 rpm through a gearbox for high low-end torque. Swing over bed is 850 mm (33.5 in); maximum turning diameter is 525 mm (20.7 in) and maximum turning length on the standard bed is 790 mm (31.1 in). X-axis travel is 293 mm (11.5 in) and Z-axis travel 830 mm (32.7 in), with 30 m/min (1,181 ipm) rapid traverse on both axes. A 10-station servo turret indexes in 0.15 s and takes 25 mm (1 in) OD tools and 50 mm (2 in) boring bars. The tailstock has a 100 mm quill with an MT#5 live center taper. The base machine weighs 5,850 kg (12,897 lb) and runs a Doosan-Fanuc i CNC with EZ-Guide i conversational programming. Longer-bed versions (3100L, XL, UL), a milling version (M) and a Y-axis version (Y) share the same spindle and turret platform.
