2012 EUROTECH B436Y2 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Eurotech B436Y2 (Rapido B436 Y2) is a twin-spindle, twin-turret CNC turning center built by Biglia in Italy and sold in North America by Eurotech. It is designed for complete machining of small parts from bar stock up to 36 mm (1.42 in). The main spindle and sub-spindle are liquid-cooled integral motor spindles, each rated 11 kW (about 15 hp) and 7,000 rpm, with C-axis on both. The sub-spindle moves on its own Z3 and X3 axes, so it can be offset from the main spindle, used as a tailstock, or work with both turrets at once. Two 12-station Biglia servo turrets each have a Y-axis and live tooling at every station, for 24 driven tool positions in total; the live tools are rated 2.2/4.6 kW and 6,000 rpm with 22 N·m torque. Maximum machining diameter and length are each 100 mm (3.9 in). The bed is a cast-iron 45-degree slant bed with linear guides. Standard equipment includes a bar-feeder interface, rigid tapping, an automatic parts catcher, finished-parts conveyor, swarf conveyor and 7-bar coolant. The machine occupies about 3,687 x 1,515 mm, stands 1,992 mm high and weighs about 4,700 kg (10,360 lb) with the swarf conveyor.
