Technical Description

The Eurotech B465-Y2 is a twin-spindle, dual-turret CNC turning center with live tooling and Y-axis capability on both turrets. The main spindle has an 8 in chuck, 2.625 in bar capacity, 20 hp power, and 5,000 rpm max speed; maximum turning diameter is 13.4 in and maximum turning length is 37.5 in. The sub-spindle also reaches 5,000 rpm. Axis travels are X 6.7 in, X2 7.08 in, Z 25 in, Z2 21.25 in, and Y +/-3.54 in. Each turret carries 12 stations (192 tools total across the tooling system) with live tooling to 4,000 rpm for milling, drilling, and tapping, and C-axis indexing to 0.001 degrees. The control is a Fanuc 31i-B CNC. Overall machine dimensions are approximately 173 x 85 x 89 in, and machine weight is approximately 18,000 lb.
