The GANESH GTD-44HK is a super heavy-duty manual engine lathe engineered for demanding machining applications. It features a robust 44-inch swing over the bed and a 27.9-inch swing over the cross slide, allowing for the efficient turning of large workpieces. The lathe is equipped with a 6-inch spindle bore, supporting the machining of long, large-diameter components. Powered by a 40 HP spindle motor, the GTD-44HK delivers high torque and consistent performance for heavy cutting operations. The machine’s bed ways are hardened, ground, and Turcite® coated, ensuring exceptional wear resistance, smooth motion, and long-term accuracy. All gears are hardened and ground for durability and quiet operation, while the double-set of spindle bearings enhances rigidity and spindle life.
