GANESH GTW-16 MANUAL LATHE

The GANESH GTW-16 Manual Lathe is a heavy-duty engine lathe designed for precision metalworking with a 16-inch swing over the bed and 40-inch distance between centers. It features a robust spindle bore of 2.063 inches capable of housing large workpieces, powered by a 7.5 horsepower motor delivering up to 2,000 RPM through a 12-speed geared head spindle. The lathe offers a 9.44-inch swing over the cross slide for machining operations with a maximum cross slide travel of approximately 9 inches. The bed has hardened and ground Turcite®-coated ways for durability and smooth carriage movement, while the spindle and gears are also hardened and ground to withstand heavy use and maintain precision. Equipped with a safety foot brake and chuck guard, it ensures operator safety during operation. Thread cutting capabilities include a wide range of inch and metric pitches, supported by a tailstock with inch/metric quill graduations. The coolant pump motor operates at 220 VAC with 1/8 HP, enhancing cutting efficiency and tool life. The lathe includes a full set of accessories such as steady rest, follower rest, splash guard, and interlocked chuck guard. Power requirements are 220 VAC, 3-phase at 20 amps.
