The GIDDINGS & LEWIS RT 1600 is a heavy-duty Horizontal Boring Mill featuring a 6.1-inch (155 mm) spindle diameter and a 4-speed headstock. It offers extensive travel capabilities, including 189 inches (4801 mm) on the X-axis, 141.7 inches (3599 mm) on the Y-axis, and 49.2 inches (1250 mm) on the Z-axis, plus a W-axis travel of 78.7 inches. The machine is equipped with a substantial 63 x 98.4 inch (1600 x 2489 mm) built-in rotary table with a load capacity of 55,100 lbs (24,993 kg) and 0.001-degree B-axis rotation.
