Technical Description

The Goodway GLS-2000 is a two-axis CNC slant-bed (30 degree) turning center. Maximum swing diameter is 560 mm (22.05 in), swing over saddle is 230 mm (9.06 in), maximum turning diameter is 390 mm (15.35 in), and maximum turning length is 330 mm (12.99 in). An 8 in chuck is fitted with 65 mm (2.56 in) bar capacity and 76 mm (2.99 in) hole-through-spindle. The main spindle has a 110 mm (4.33 in) bearing diameter, A2-6 nose, and reaches 4,500 rpm. A 12-station standard turret takes 25 mm OD / 40 mm ID shank tooling. The machine features an auto-lubrication system for slideways, ball screws, and other vital components. The control is a Fagor 8065 CNC.
