2018 HAAS ST30SS CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Haas ST-30SS is the Super Speed version of the ST-30 CNC turning center, built in the USA by Haas Automation. It uses a 10 in (254 mm) hydraulic chucking system on an A2-6 spindle nose, with a 3.5 in (88.9 mm) spindle bore and a standard bar capacity of 3 in (76 mm). The spindle runs to 4,500 rpm on a 30 hp (22.4 kW) vector dual drive, delivering 275 ft-lb (373 Nm) of torque at 600 rpm. Maximum cutting diameter is 16 in (406 mm) and maximum cutting length is 26 in (660 mm). Swing over the front apron is 31.75 in (806 mm), and swing over the cross slide is 20.75 in (527 mm). Travels are 12.5 in (318 mm) in X and 26 in (660 mm) in Z, with rapids of 945 ipm (24 m/min) in X and 1,200 ipm (30.5 m/min) in Z. Tooling is carried on a 24-station hybrid turret that accepts bolt-on tools, 0.75 in (19 mm) OD tools and VDI 40 holders. The machine runs the Haas CNC control with a 15 in color LCD, USB port, 1 MB program memory and rigid tapping. Options include a programmable hydraulic tailstock, 6,000 rpm live tooling with C axis, high-pressure coolant, an automatic tool presetter, a chip conveyor and a Haas bar feeder.
