2005 HAAS TL15 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Haas TL-15 is a dual-spindle CNC turning center built by Haas Automation in Oxnard, California, on the platform of the Haas SL-20 lathe. It pairs a 20 hp vector-drive main spindle carrying an 8 in. chuck with an 8 hp sub-spindle carrying a 5 in. chuck, so double-ended parts can be turned complete in one setup without re-chucking by hand. Both spindles run to 4,000 rpm as standard, and the main spindle was offered with 5,000 rpm and 7,000 rpm options. Maximum cutting diameter is 10 in. and turning length depends on the workholding and tooling used. The standard 12-pocket turret holds six VDI 40 tools and six bolt-on tools, and twin-bore and twin-turn toolholders are supplied for sub-spindle work. Live tooling and full C-axis options add milling, drilling and tapping as secondary operations. The machine runs on the Haas CNC control. The TL-15 is not the same machine as the Haas TL series toolroom lathes despite the similar name.
