2012 HAAS TL3W CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Haas TL-3W is a large-swing CNC toolroom lathe that combines manual-lathe operation with full CNC capability. It turns parts up to 30 in in diameter over the front apron and 18 in over the cross slide, with 60 in between centers and 60 in of Z-axis travel. X-axis travel is 16 in. The A2-6 spindle nose has a 3.5 in bore and runs to 1,800 rpm, driven by a 30 hp vector drive that produces 1,600 ft-lb of torque at 60 rpm. Standard workholding is an optional 12 in chuck. Rapid traverse is 75 ipm in X and 150 ipm in Z. The machine is run from the Haas CNC control with the Haas Intuitive Programming System, which lets operators run turning, facing, threading and other cycles by filling in on-screen prompts without writing G-code, while standard ISO G-code programming remains available. Electronic handwheels and a digital readout allow manual operation. Standard features include a cross slide ready for a tool post, an integral chip-flow channel, a 15 in color LCD with USB port and 1 MB program memory. Options include a manual tailstock with adjustable quill, manual three-jaw chuck, steady rest, coolant pump kit, spindle orientation and rigid tapping. The machine weighs 6,750 lb and requires 3-phase power.
