Technical Description

The Hardinge Quest-GT27 is the Quest-series version of the GT-27 CNC gang-tool turning center: a 5C collet spindle with a 1-1/16 in through-hole (ANSI A2-4), running 1-6,000 rpm on a 5 hp motor, 0.5 in collet-closer stroke. Swing over the way cover is 11.76 in (2.654 in over the gang-tool top plate). X travel is 11.968 in, Z travel 11.062 in. Gang tooling: 0.5 in square-shank, 0.75 in round-shank holders. FANUC 21TB control (later units may differ).
