The HWACHEON HL-460/1500 Manual Lathe is a high-performance, conventional engine lathe engineered for precision and durability in demanding machining environments. Designed and manufactured in Korea to Japanese standards, this lathe features a robust cast iron bed with a wide guiding surface, optimized for shock and vibration absorption, ensuring stable operation during heavy-duty cutting tasks. The lathe offers a swing over bed of 18.11 inches and a swing over cross slide of 11.02 inches, accommodating a wide range of workpiece sizes. With a distance between centers of 59.06 inches, it provides ample capacity for extended turning operations. The main spindle is supported by super-precision taper roller bearings, delivering high rigidity and accuracy, while the standard chuck size is 9 inches, with optional 10 or 14-inch chucks available.
