Technical Description

The 2025 Hyundai WIA VX650 is a 3-axis vertical machining center offering a large-format worktable suitable for mold, die, and oversized prismatic component machining. The machine provides a 63.0” × 25.6” worktable with X/Y/Z travels of 55.1”, 26.0”, and 25.0”, delivering substantial capacity for large fixture work, die sets, and mold bases. The BT40 spindle operates at 8,000 RPM driven by a 20 HP continuous motor, with a 10,000 RPM option available for high-speed aluminum applications. A 30-tool ATC supports multi-operation machining capability across complex workpiece setups. The Fanuc 0i-MB CNC control provides rigid tapping, macro programming, and a proven operator interface with broad G-code compatibility. Box guideway construction on all three axes delivers the rigidity and thermal stability required for accurate large-workpiece machining. Maximum table load is 2,866 lbs. The VX650 is the large-format offering in Hyundai WIA’s VX-series VMC lineup, providing expanded table capacity relative to the VX500 while maintaining the proven structural architecture and standard CAT40 tooling compatibility of the VX series.
