J&M CW6280B MANUAL LATHE

The J&M CW6280B is a heavy-duty horizontal manual lathe machine engineered for precision metal cutting and turning operations. With a maximum swing over bed of 800mm (31.5 inches), this machine accommodates large-diameter workpieces, while the swing over cross slide of 480mm (20.5 inches) provides excellent accessibility for tooling and workpiece manipulation. The spindle bore measures 105mm standard with an optional 130mm configuration (3.9 inches), enabling the use of larger bar stocks and through-spindle machining capabilities. Powered by an 11kW main motor, the lathe delivers 18 selectable spindle speeds ranging from 7.5 to 1000 rpm, accommodating diverse material requirements and cutting conditions. The machine features 64 different cross feed steps ranging from 0.05 to 24.3 mm/rev, ensuring precise control over material removal rates.
