The J&M TL1280T Manual Lathe is a heavy-duty machine designed for demanding turning applications, offering robust construction and high precision. With a maximum swing over bed of 50.39 inches (1280 mm) and a swing over cross slide of 31.50 inches (800 mm), it accommodates large workpieces with ease. The lathe features a spindle bore of 5.12 inches (130 mm) and a metric 140# spindle taper, supporting a wide range of tooling and workholding options. Spindle speeds range from 3.15 to 315 rpm (forward) and 2 to 200 rpm (reverse), providing flexibility for various materials and machining requirements. The machine is equipped with a 30 kW main motor, ensuring powerful performance for heavy cutting operations. Longitudinal and cross feed ranges offer 56 kinds of feed rates, from 0.1 to 12 mm and 0.05 to 6 mm respectively, allowing for fine control and accuracy.
