The J&M TL630 Manual Lathe is a robust heavy-duty engine lathe designed for precision turning of large shafts, tubes, and heavy workpieces. With a maximum swing over bed of 24.8 inches (630 mm) and a swing over gap of 31.5 inches (800 mm), this lathe provides ample clearance for oversized components. The swing over cross slide is 13.6 inches (345 mm), allowing for versatile machining operations. The spindle features a generous bore diameter of 4.1 inches (105 mm), accommodating large-diameter bar stock for through-feed applications. The spindle taper is Φ120 mm at a 1:16 ratio, ensuring secure tool and workholding attachment.
