J&M TN360A MANUAL LATHE

The J&M TN360A is a precision bench lathe engineered for general-purpose turning operations in machine shops and training facilities. Featuring an induction-hardened, precision ground V-way bed, this lathe provides excellent rigidity and accuracy for consistent workpiece machining. The machine accommodates workpieces with a maximum swing of 14.0 inches over the bed and 19.9 inches over the gap, with a distance between centers of 39.4 inches, making it suitable for mid-range production and prototype work. The lathe is equipped with a D1-4 spindle nose supported by high-quality tapered roller bearings, delivering 12 spindle speed steps ranging from 40 to 1800 rpm to accommodate various material types and cutting requirements. The 1.6-inch spindle bore accepts MT5 taper tooling, enabling quick tool changes and precise tool alignment. Hardened, precision ground gears in the headstock ensure smooth power transmission and extended service life.
