The JET GH-1860ZX is a precision engine lathe designed for heavy-duty metalworking applications. It features an 18-inch swing over bed with an 11-inch swing over cross slide, enabling machining of substantial workpieces. The lathe accommodates a maximum distance between centers of 60 inches, providing extended capacity for longer work. The spindle features a 3-1/8 inch bore mounted on a D1-8 taper and is supported by two tapered and one ball bearing for enhanced stability and precision. Powered by a 7.5 HP, 3-phase motor (230/460V, pre-wired 230V), the lathe operates at 1,800 RPM with 12 speed ranges from 25 to 1,800 RPM, facilitating versatile threading and turning operations. The universal gearbox enables inch, metric, diametrical, and module pitch threading without change gears.
