The KINGRED KD500ZL Wire EDM Machine is a high-precision CNC-controlled electrical discharge machining system designed for accurate and reliable wire cutting operations. The machine offers travel ranges of 15.75 inches (400 mm) on the X-axis, 19.69 inches (500 mm) on the Y-axis, and 11.81 inches (300 mm) on the Z-axis, with a worktable size of 520×800 mm capable of supporting heavy workpieces. Equipped with AC servo motors on all axes and an advanced PLC control system, the KD500ZL delivers super-low fault rates and precise positioning through absolute encoder feedback. The system supports fully closed-loop control with optional linear motors and linear scales for enhanced accuracy. Its innovative short wire path, fixed wire drum, and servo-controlled wire tension system ensure consistent cutting quality and improved surface finish, with a maximum taper cutting capability of ±15° and a maximum cut thickness of 80 mm.
