The KINGRED KD500ZL Wire EDM Machine is a high-precision CNC-controlled electrical discharge machining system designed for accurate and reliable wire cutting operations. Featuring a robust "C" structure and "T" shaped machine bed, the KD500ZL ensures exceptional stability and rigidity during machining. The machine offers travel ranges of 15.75 inches (400 mm) on the X-axis, 19.69 inches (500 mm) on the Y-axis, and 11.81 inches (300 mm) on the Z-axis, with a worktable size of 520×800 mm capable of supporting heavy workpieces. Equipped with AC servo motors on all axes and an advanced PLC control system, the KD500ZL delivers super-low fault rates and precise positioning through absolute encoder feedback. The system supports fully closed-loop control with optional linear motors and linear scales for enhanced accuracy. Its innovative short wire path, fixed wire drum, and servo-controlled wire tension system ensure consistent cutting quality and improved surface finish, with a maximum taper cutting capability of ±15° and a maximum cut thickness of 80 mm. The machine integrates advanced modular design, combining the EDM electrical system, high-frequency power supply, and NC system for compactness, reliability, and strong anti-interference performance. Multiple machining modes—including single segment, continuous, forward, and backward cutting—provide flexibility for diverse applications. Real-time monitoring of all five axes (X, Y, U, V, Z) is available through an intuitive GUI, displaying machining position, coordinates, progress, and remaining time. The system also features automatic alarm functions for process completion or malfunctions, supporting efficient and safe operation.
