Technical Description

The 2023 Kiwa Triple V21i is a 3-axis vertical machining center with an integrated 2-pallet automatic pallet changer engineered for continuous high-volume production with minimal operator intervention. The dual-pallet system rotates 180 degrees to exchange pallets, enabling uninterrupted spindle operation as one pallet is machined while the other is being set up. The pallet measures 32.3 by 17.7 inches (820 x 450 mm), with axis travels of 24 inches in X, 16.1 inches in Y, and 20.1 inches in Z. The BT-40 or CAT-40 spindle delivers 10,000 RPM standard with an optional 12,000 RPM configuration and 15 HP continuous power, covering a broad range of production materials. The Fanuc i-series CNC control provides look-ahead interpolation, rigid tapping, high-speed machining cycles, and DNC networking capability for integration into connected manufacturing environments. A 24-tool ATC supports complex multi-operation programs. The machine's compact dual-pallet floor footprint of approximately 91.5 by 94.7 inches maximizes production density on the shop floor. Latest-generation construction with updated guideways and drive systems provides improved positioning accuracy and reduced cycle times compared to earlier Triple V21i variants. The 2023 Triple V21i is well suited for high-volume precision production of repeat-lot components in automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial manufacturing applications.
