The KNUTH Forceturn 630.50 is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for heavy-duty turning operations. It features a robust flatbed design with a maximum turning diameter of 26 inches (670 mm) and a maximum workpiece length of up to 5,100 mm (197 inches), enabling machining of large, heavy components with high precision. The machine is equipped with a powerful main spindle delivering up to 20.1 HP and a maximum spindle speed of 2,250 RPM, supporting demanding cutting tasks. It offers two simultaneous cutting tools and a Z-axis travel of 197 inches, allowing versatile and efficient machining operations. The spindle has a large bore diameter of 85 mm, supporting substantial workpiece sizes. Rapid feed rates for the X and Z axes can reach up to 5,000 mm/min, enhancing productivity. Precision is maintained with positioning accuracies of approximately 0.015 mm (X-axis) and 0.03 mm (Z-axis), and repeatabilities as low as 0.007 mm (X-axis).
