MAINLAND CA6140B/1500 MANUAL LATHE

The MAINLAND CA6140B/1500 is a manual horizontal lathe machine designed for versatile metal turning operations. This conventional machine features a maximum swing over bed of 400mm (15.75 inches) and accommodates workpieces up to 1,500mm in length with a maximum swing over carriage of 210mm (8.27 inches). The lathe is powered by a 7.5kW (10.06 HP) motor and operates at spindle speeds ranging from 16 to 1,400 RPM across 24 steps, providing flexibility for various machining applications. The machine is equipped with a Morse 6 spindle taper with a 52mm spindle bore, enabling secure tool mounting and reliable operation. The turning tool arbor has a 25×25mm cross-section, allowing for efficient material removal. This lathe achieves high dimensional accuracy up to IT7 level and delivers smooth surface finishes suitable for precision work.
