The MAXSEE FW-325 is a precision CNC wire electrical discharge machine designed for high-precision machining of complex metal components. This flush-type EDM features a rigid FC35 fine grain cast structure that minimizes thermal distortion and vibration during extended machining operations. The machine accommodates workpieces up to 350 kg and provides X, Y, Z travel distances of 350 x 250 x 200 mm respectively, with additional U, V axis travel of 50 x 50 mm for multi-axis contouring and taper angle machining up to ±15 degrees on workpieces up to 60 mm thick. The system utilizes wire electrodes ranging from 0.15 to 0.3 mm diameter at 2000 gf tension, with wire feed rates up to 400 mm/sec and X/Y feed rates of 800 mm/min. The machine bed accommodates workpieces up to 800 x 550 x 200 mm on a 560 x 410 mm work table. The integrated CNC control operates on Windows CE platform with a 15-inch full-color touchscreen display, offering multiple operating modules for user-friendly operation. The dual trace system employs 1 μm linear scales and encoders for exceptional machining accuracy. Advanced features include corner aid control for optimized corner machining conditions and a 420-liter fluid supply unit with automatic temperature and conductivity control. Powered by a 3-phase 15 kVA electrical system, the FW-325 delivers warranted cutting accuracy of 0.012 mm and achieves surface finishes as fine as Ra 0.8 μm, making it ideal for precision die and tool manufacturing applications.
