2021 MAZAK HQR250MSY CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Mazak HQR-250MSY is a two-turret, two-spindle CNC turning center from Mazak's HQR series. Upper and lower turrets sit in line on the X axis, so both can cut the same part for balanced turning, or work on different spindles at once. Both turrets have Y-axis travel of 4 in (plus or minus 2 in) and rotary tooling. The main spindle takes a 10 in chuck, has a 3.58 in bore and runs to 4,000 rpm; its motor is rated 26 kW (35 hp) for 30 minutes and 22 kW (30 hp) continuous, with 368.8 ft-lb of torque. The second spindle takes an 8 in chuck and runs to 5,000 rpm on a 22 kW (30 hp) / 15 kW motor. Each turret holds 12 tools, with 1 in turning shanks and 2 in boring bars, and rotary tools run to 6,000 rpm on a 5.5 kW (7.5 hp) 10-minute rating. Maximum machining diameter is 13.5 in. Travel is 8 in (upper) and 6 in (lower) on X, with rapid traverse of 1,181 ipm on the upper X axis and 1,417 ipm on Z. The machine runs the MAZATROL SmoothG control, which supports conversational and EIA/ISO programming. It is built on two bed lengths: the 850U (30 in / 32 in Z travel, 138 x 104 in, 29,211 lb) and the 1300U (48 in / 51 in Z travel, 184 x 106 in, 33,907 lb); height is 98 in on both.
