Technical Description

The Mazak INTEGREX i-100 is a multi-tasking turning center that combines a turning spindle with a B-axis milling spindle for done-in-one machining of smaller complex parts. Maximum swing is 20.87 in (530 mm), maximum machining diameter is 19.69 in (500 mm) and maximum machining length is 20.43 in (519 mm). Bar work capacity is 2.0 in (51 mm) through a 6 in chuck. The main turning spindle reaches 6,000 rpm with a 15 hp (11 kW) motor at its 30-minute rating. The milling spindle tilts through 240 degrees of B-axis travel, from -30 to 210 degrees, runs to 12,000 rpm and is rated 10 hp (8 kW); a 20,000 rpm milling spindle is optional. Tools are held in a 36-tool automatic tool changer with HSK-A63 tooling as standard, and a 72-tool magazine is available. KM63 and Capto C6 spindle connections are also offered. Travels are 17.72 in X, 8.27 in Y, 22.40 in Z and 31.77 in W. The machine has full C-axis contouring with 0.0001 degree minimum indexing and a programmable NC tailstock. It can process prismatic parts from solid blocks or castings, chucked or bar fed, as well as round and contoured parts, with full 5-axis capability.
