Technical Description

The Mazak INTEGREX i-200 is a compact 5-axis-capable multi-tasking machine from the INTEGREX i series, the seventh INTEGREX generation that replaced the INTEGREX IV line. It combines a turning center and a full-function machining center: a single main turning spindle with C-axis control works with a B-axis milling head that indexes through 240 degrees, so turning, milling, drilling, tapping and contouring are completed in one setup. The machine offers a maximum machining diameter of 25.9 in and takes an 8 in chuck. The turning spindle is rated 30 HP with a top speed of 5,000 rpm, and the milling spindle runs to 12,000 rpm. The milling head is fed from a front-mounted tool magazine, available in 36- and 72-tool versions. The i series introduced roller linear guides, a roller-cam drive for the B-axis, and a longer Y-axis stroke than the previous generation. Early machines were supplied with the MAZATROL MATRIX CNC, and later builds moved to newer MAZATROL controls. Two bed lengths (1000U and 1500U) were offered, so maximum machining length depends on the build. The i-200 suits medium-size shafts, flanges and complex prismatic-plus-turned parts in job-shop and production work, and it can be paired with a gantry loader for automation.
