Technical Description

The Mazak INTEGREX i-300ST is a multi-tasking machine for medium to large complex parts. It pairs a main turning spindle with a second turning spindle, a lower turret and a B-axis milling spindle, so both ends of a part can be machined in one setup. Maximum swing and maximum machining diameter are both 25.91 in (658 mm), and maximum machining length is 59.8 in (1,519 mm) on the 1500U bed. Bar work capacity is 3.2 in (80 mm). The main spindle carries a 10 in chuck, runs to 4,000 rpm and is rated 40 hp (30 kW) at 30 minutes. The second spindle also takes a 10 in chuck, runs to 4,000 rpm and is rated 35 hp (26 kW). The milling spindle has 240 degrees of B-axis travel, reaches 12,000 rpm and is rated 30 hp (22 kW); a 20,000 rpm version is optional. The automatic tool changer holds 36 tools as standard with 72 and 110 tool options, using HSK-A63, KM63 or Capto C6 connections. Travels are 24.21 in X, 9.06 in X2, 10.24 in Y, 62.40 in Z, 54.65 in Z2 and 61.97 in W. Full C-axis contouring is standard.
