2009 MAZAK QTN100MS CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Mazak QTN-100MS (Quick Turn Nexus 100MS) is a CNC turning center from Mazak's Quick Turn Nexus series, built around a 100 mm-class main spindle paired with a second (sub) spindle for continuous, complete-part machining without manual re-chucking. The main and sub-spindles both reach a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm, and the machine is equipped with a 12-position turret. It is operated through Mazak's MAZATROL 640T NEXUS conversational control, standard across the Quick Turn Nexus line during this generation. The machine can turn parts up to approximately 280 mm (11 in) in diameter and roughly 309 mm (12.2 in) in length, making it suited to small-to-mid-size precision components such as fittings, shafts, and housings for general machining, automotive, and medical part production. The "MS" designation indicates the sub-spindle configuration, enabling back-working of a part's second side in the same cycle, reducing handling and improving part-to-part consistency versus a single-spindle Quick Turn. Values for spindle bore, chuck size, overall footprint, and machine weight returned conflicting or single-sourced figures across dealer listings and have been left blank pending better-corroborated sources; see Issue/Notes for details.
