Technical Description

The Mazak QUICK TURN NEXUS 200-II is a 2-axis CNC turning center with a through-hole chuck package, built for a wide range of chucked and bar-fed parts. Maximum swing is 24.02 in (610 mm) and maximum machining diameter is 13.78 in (350 mm). Bar work capacity is 2.6 in (65 mm). The main spindle carries an 8 in chuck, runs to 5,000 rpm and is rated 35 hp (26 kW) at its 30-minute rating. The upper turret holds 12 tools. Travel is 8.75 in in X. The model was offered on three bed lengths, 20 in, 40 in and 60 in, which give maximum machining lengths of 20.16 in, 40.53 in and 61.28 in, and Z travels of 21.13 in, 41.50 in and 61.13 in.
