2017 MAZAK QTU350 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Mazak QTU-350 is a two-axis CNC turning center from the Quick Turn Universal line, a single-spindle lathe for chucked parts and bar work. It offers a maximum swing of 27.4 in, and a 10 in chuck is fitted to the main spindle. The spindle has a 3.58 in bore and passes bar stock up to 3 in diameter, so the machine can be bar-fed for production runs as well as loaded by hand. The spindle motor is rated at 20 hp and the spindle turns to a top speed of 3,500 rpm. Tooling is carried on a 12-position turret. The X axis provides 8.5 in of travel. A programmable tailstock is standard for supporting long shafts between centers. Machines offered on the used market include a tool setter, a chip conveyor, and a coolant tank with pump. Control is a Mazak MAZATROL conversational CNC, and the control version depends on build year. The QTU series was also built in milling (M) and Y-axis milling (MY) versions that add rotary tooling; this record covers the plain two-axis turning model without live tools.
