The MEGABORE PB-50 21" HS Manual Lathe is a heavy-duty engine lathe designed for demanding oil field and industrial applications. It features a 50-inch swing over bed, 10 feet between centers, and a massive 21-inch hollow spindle, with spindle options ranging from 6 to 30 inches and swing options available in 40, 50, or 60 inches. Center distance can be configured from 1.5 to 40 feet to suit various workpiece lengths. The machine is powered by a dual-voltage spindle motor, offering 30 to 50 HP for robust performance. Weighing 30,000 lbs, it provides exceptional stability and rigidity. The bed width is 28.14 inches without an auxiliary guide and 31.49 inches with one. The cross slide travel is 31.49 inches, and the compound tool post travel is 19.68 inches, with a 4-way tool post width of 10.03 inches. Feed ranges include 0.0018 to 0.1 inches/rev longitudinally and 0.0009 to 0.05 inches/rev crosswise, with rapid feeds of 78.74 inches/rev and 50 inches/min, respectively. Thread capabilities cover metric (1–56 mm), inch (1/2–28 TPI), module (0.25–14), and diametral pitch (2–112). The leadscrew pitch is 12 TPI.
