MICROCUT HBM-4T HORIZONTAL BORING MILL

The MICROCUT HBM-4T is a robust Horizontal Boring Mill featuring a 5.12-inch (130 mm) spindle diameter with an ISO #50 taper, capable of speeds up to 3000 RPM, powered by a 37/45 kW motor and delivering 2362 Nm of torque. The machine provides extensive travel, including an X-axis (table cross travel) of 2200 mm (86.6 inches), Y-axis (headstock vertical travel) of 1600 mm (63 inches), Z-axis (table long travel) of 1600 mm (63 inches), and W-axis (quill travel) of 550 mm (21.65 inches). The standard table size measures 1500 x 1250 mm (59 x 49.2 inches) and supports a maximum load capacity of 5000 kg (5 tons). Control is managed by a FANUC 32iB Plus CNC system, complemented by an automatic tool changer with a 60-tool BT #50 capacity. Constructed from Meehanite cast iron with hardened and ground guideways, the machine weighs approximately 22,500 kg and includes features such as spindle vibration monitoring, a chip auger device, and a mechanical counterweight for enhanced stability.
