2013 MIYANO BNA42GTY CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Miyano BNA-42GTY is a fixed-headstock automatic CNC lathe for bar work, built with two spindles, one turret, gang tools and two Y axes. Maximum machining diameter is 42 mm (1.65 in) on both the main spindle (SP1) and back spindle (SP2), with a maximum machining length of 110 mm (4.33 in). SP1 runs to 6,000 rpm on an 11 kW (15 min) / 7.5 kW continuous drive; SP2 runs to 5,000 rpm on 5.5 / 3.7 kW. Both spindles have C-axis indexing to 0.001 degrees. The 8-station turret uses half-indexing to hold tools at up to 16 positions, and together with the front gang tool post, 5 back ID tool positions and live tooling (ER16, 6,000 rpm; 1.0 kW turret, 1.5 kW gang), the machine carries 21 to 45 tools. Superimposition control allows simultaneous cutting with two tools on SP1, or three tools when SP2 is included. Axis strokes are Z1 110 mm, X1 95 mm, Y1 260 mm, Z2 235 mm, X2 140 mm, Y2 70 mm, with an X3 axis serving the back spindle. All axes run on hand-scraped slideways. Standard features include rigid tapping on both spindles and live tools, polygon turning, helical interpolation, a workpiece conveyor and high-pressure coolant. Floor space is 2,350 x 1,475 mm, machine height 1,680 mm, and machine weight 3,740 kg.
