2016 MIYANO BNA42S CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Miyano BNA-42S is a compact CNC bar-turning center built by Citizen Machinery's Miyano division and sold in North America through Marubeni Citizen-Cincom. It has two spindles and one turret: a main spindle for front work and a sub-spindle that picks off the part for back machining, so small parts can be completed in one cycle. Maximum bar capacity on the main spindle is 42 mm (1.65 in), and maximum machining length is 100 mm (3.94 in). The main spindle is rated 7.5 kW for 15 minutes and 5.5 kW continuous; the sub-spindle is rated 5.5/3.7 kW. The 8-station turret uses a half-index mechanism, so two fixed tools can be mounted at each position for up to 16 tools, and the turret stations can drive live tools for cross drilling and milling. The main spindle takes a 5 in power chuck. The machine is designed for high-volume production of small turned parts such as fittings, pins, connectors and hydraulic components, typically fed by a bar feeder with a part unloader. It has a small footprint for a two-spindle machine. The CNC control is FANUC; the exact model depends on the year of build.
