The MONFORTS RNC 700 is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for heavy-duty turning applications with a maximum turning diameter of 21.6 inches (550 mm) and turning length up to 59 inches (about 1500 mm). It features a robust main spindle with a 12-inch chuck diameter and a maximum swing diameter of 28.3 inches, accommodating bar diameters up to 3.35 inches. The main spindle operates at speeds up to 4,000 RPM and provides 50 HP standard power, upgradeable to 80 HP for enhanced cutting capability. The machine includes a DIN 60 primary tool carrier supporting up to 12 turning and 12 rotary tools, with rotary tools running at 3,200 RPM and powered by 17 HP. It supports simultaneous cutting with one tool in operation, controlled across 2 axes (X and Z), optionally expandable to 3 axes. The X-axis travel is 16.9 inches with a rapid feed rate of 470 inches per minute, matched by the Z-axis travel of 43.3 inches and an optional extension to 63 inches, also sustaining a rapid traverse of 470 ipm.
