2020 MURATA MW120EXGT CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Muratec MW120EX GT is a twin-loader version of the MW120EX, the enhanced twin-spindle CNC chucker in the MW-EX series built by Murata Machinery for high-volume turning of chucked parts. Two identical spindles sit side by side, each served by its own 8-station turret, giving 16 tools in total. Compared with the standard MW series, the EX spindles use higher-precision bearings and parts in a redesigned, more rigid headstock, the turrets are elevated with a relocated Z-axis ball screw for better tracking, and the main base, covers, gantry loader and control cabinet are built as separate structures so the machine body is exposed to less vibration. Standard chuck size is 6 inches (165 mm), with 8 inches (210 mm) optional, and the spindle nose is JIS A2-5. Maximum spindle speed is 3,000, 4,500 or 6,000 rpm depending on the spindle specification ordered. Each spindle is driven by a 7.5 kW (30 min) AC motor. The standard single-loader MW120EX weighs 4,400 kg gross with loader. The machine can run the same operation on both spindles or split first and second operations between them.
