2018 NAKAMURA MX100 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Nakamura-Tome MX-100 is a compact ATC multitasking machine that combines a machining center and a turning center. It has opposed left and right twin spindles, an upper B-axis tool spindle with automatic tool changer, and a lower turret, so upper and lower tools can cut at the same time on either spindle. The slides sit on a vertical column structure mounted on a rigid, low-center-of-gravity horizontal bed. Both spindles are built-in motor spindles rated 11/7.5 kW (15 hp) with a top speed of 6,000 rpm, A2-5 noses, 2 in bar capacity (2.6 in optional on the left spindle) and 6 in or 8 in chucks. Maximum turning diameter is 12 in with the tool spindle, and distance between spindles ranges from 9.1 in to 39.4 in. The tool spindle runs to 12,000 rpm (20,000 rpm optional), swivels 190 degrees on the B axis and travels 8.3 in on the Y axis (plus or minus 4.1 in). The ATC magazine holds 36 tools, with 48 or 72 optional. The lower turret has 12 stations and 24 indexing positions with 6,000 rpm driven tools. Floor space is 171 in by 110 in, and the machine weighs 37,500 lb. It is intended for complete machining of complex parts in one setup.
