2002 NAKAMURA SC250 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Nakamura-Tome SC-250 is a single-spindle, single-turret CNC turning center built around an 8 inch chuck. It uses a high-rigidity torque-tube 45 degree slant bed with box slideways on all axes, a layout that lets chips fall freely to the tank. Maximum swing over the bed is 450 mm (17.72 in), maximum turning diameter is 300 mm (11.81 in) and maximum turning length is 500 mm (19.69 in). Standard bar capacity is 51 mm (2 in), with a 65 mm (2-1/2 in) bar capacity option. The A2-6 spindle is driven by a 15/11 kW motor, with an 18.5/15 kW motor available as an option, and reaches 5,000 rpm (4,500 rpm with the 65 mm bar option). The 12-station dodecagonal turret indexes in 0.2 seconds using a non-lift indexing system; a 10-station decagonal turret is used with a 10 inch chuck. Rapid traverse is 16 m/min on X and 24 m/min on Z. Options include C-axis milling with 12 rotating tool stations, a Y-axis with 41 mm stroke either side of center, and a back-face turning device or sub-spindle for complete machining. Machine dimensions are 2,598 x 1,671 x 1,815 mm and weight is 3,900 kg.
