THE NAKAMURA-TOME AS-200 IS A COMPACT, HIGH-PERFORMANCE TURNING CENTER DESIGNED FOR MULTITASKING OPERATIONS, COMBINING TURNING, MILLING, AND OFF-CENTER MACHINING IN A SINGLE SETUP. IT FEATURES A ROBUST MAIN SPINDLE WITH A MAXIMUM TURNING DIAMETER OF 13.380" AND A TURNING LENGTH OF 11.810", POWERED BY A 20 HP MOTOR CAPABLE OF SPEEDS UP TO 4,500 RPM. THE MACHINE IS EQUIPPED WITH AN 8.000" CHUCK AND SUPPORTS BAR STOCK UP TO 2.550" IN DIAMETER. THE PRIMARY TOOL CARRIER IS A DODECAGONAL TURRET, ALLOWING FOR UP TO 12 TURNING AND 12 ROTARY TOOLS, WITH THE ROTARY SPINDLE DELIVERING 7.5 HP AT 6,000 RPM FOR DRIVEN TOOL OPERATIONS.
