2007 NAKAMURA WT150MM CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Nakamura-Tome WT-150 is a first-generation multi-axis CNC turning center with two opposed spindles and two turrets, designed to machine complex small parts complete in one setup. Left and right spindles can run simultaneous or first and second operations, and parts transfer from the left to the right spindle by direct chucking with Z-axis slide movement. The headstocks are designed to maximize mass and resist vibration. Swing over the slides and maximum turning diameter are both 190 mm (7.48 in), and maximum turning length is 400 mm (15.75 in). Chuck size is 6 inches with 51 mm bar capacity on both spindles and A2-5 spindle noses. Spindle speed is 50 to 5,000 rpm, with 8,000 rpm available as an option. The left spindle motor is rated 15/11 kW and the right 11/7.5 kW. Upper and lower dodecagonal turrets provide 24 tool positions each (48 in total), 12 of them rotating per turret, driven by a 3.7 kW motor at 60 to 6,000 rpm; adjacent indexing takes 0.2 seconds. The C-axes rotate at up to 600 rpm, a Y-axis of 35 mm either side of center is optional, and rapid traverse is 16 m/min on X and 40 m/min on Z.
