The ONA AV80 Wire EDM Machine is a high-precision, modular CNC-controlled solution designed for advanced wire-cut electrical discharge machining. Featuring a robust construction and intelligent generator technology, the AV80 delivers exceptional cutting speeds of up to 450 mm²/min using a 0.33 mm wire diameter, ensuring high productivity and efficiency. The machine’s CNC control system provides accurate positioning and process monitoring, enabling precise control over complex geometries and tight tolerances. With a maximum workpiece capacity of 1500 x 1040 x 500 mm (51 x 41 x 19.7 inches) and a table load capacity of 5000 kg (11,000 lbs), the AV80 is suitable for large and heavy-duty applications. The X-axis travel measures 1000 mm (39.4 inches), while the Y-axis offers flexible configurations of 600, 800, or 1000 mm, and the Z-axis is available in multiple heights to suit diverse machining needs. The U/V axes provide 500 x 500 mm travel, supporting intricate taper and conical cuts with a maximum angle of ±30º over 400 mm. The machine supports wire diameters from 0.20 to 0.30 mm, with options for even finer wires, and achieves a minimum surface roughness of 0.1 µm Ra for superior finish quality.
