The POREBA TR-40/6/6M Manual Lathe is a heavy-duty engine lathe designed for large-scale machining. It features a swing over bed ways of 39.7 inches and a swing over cross slide of 29.1 inches, accommodating substantial workpieces with a maximum distance between centers of 236 inches. The spindle bore diameter is 6.1 inches, with spindle speeds ranging from 7 to 700 RPM across 18 gear ranges, allowing versatile speed control for various cutting operations. The lathe includes a tailstock quill diameter of 6.2 inches, supporting robust drilling and reaming tasks. Threading capabilities cover both inch and metric systems. It offers power rapid traverse for efficient tool movement and a three-point roller steady rest with a capacity of 14.75 inches for enhanced workpiece stability. The 4-way tool post enables flexible tool positioning and quick changes. Automatic lubrication ensures reduced maintenance and extended component life.
