PROKING PKB-100 MANUAL LATHE

The PROKING PKB-100 Manual Lathe is a heavy-duty machine engineered for demanding turning applications, featuring a robust 3-shear bed way and 4-way guide construction for exceptional rigidity and precision. With a swing over bed of 100.8 inches (2,560 mm), it is designed to handle large-diameter workpieces efficiently. The lathe offers a spindle bore ranging from 9" to 32", making it suitable for hollow spindle and large shaft machining, while the distance between centers can be specified up to 12,000 mm (40 ft) in 40-inch increments. The spindle nose is compatible with A2-15 to A2-40 standards, ensuring versatility in tooling options. The machine is powered by a dual-voltage spindle motor, with a standard output of 50 horsepower and optional upgrades up to 200 horsepower for heavy cutting tasks. It features a totally enclosed universal inch/metric gear box and a pressurized one-shot lubrication system for the cross slide and carriage, enhancing reliability and reducing maintenance. The PKB-100 is built on hardened and precision-ground bed-ways, providing maximum stability and minimal vibration during operation. Additional features include a carriage position device and the option for programmable tailstocks, high-pressure coolant, tool-setters, and fixed or traveling steadies for supporting long or large components.
