The Republic Lagun RFD-40-TSR Upright Drill Press is a high-performance manual floor drill designed for precision and durability. It features a 13.8-inch swing and a drilling capacity of 1.57 inches in mild steel. Powered by a robust 2.0 HP motor delivering 1,500 RPM, it offers reliable speed for various drilling operations. The spindle stroke measures 4.72 inches, enabling deep drilling tasks, while the Morse taper No. 3 with a threaded nose and protection nut facilitates secure tool holding. The spindle is offset 9.84 inches from the column, and the distance from spindle to table is adjustable from 6.69 to 25.59 inches, enhancing versatility. The worktable includes two “T” slots for secure mounting and rotates around the column with manual vertical adjustments via pinion and rack mechanism. The base plate also features “T” slots to aid fixture mounting. Safety features comply with CE standards, incorporating a quill guard with a micro switch, motor guard with magneto-thermic switch, and an emergency stop button.
